Tour Poster for the Canadian leg of the Paul Collins "King of Power Pop" Tour + posters for the Ottawa and Montreal shows.

This was my first tour with my band Mother's Children, and it was with Paul Collins of The BEAT! This man is a legend, a pop music genius and a stand up dude! Made really good friends with him and his band and had some great times. Every show ruled. The tour even extended into some shows in the States.

They axed me to make a design like the old Mother's Children tees. Cuz everybody really loves those shirts (possibly even more than the band itself.) They even made shirts that looked exactly like it. So I made this one.

I design at least 10 posters a year for either bands, djs or promoters. I try to come up with unique designs based on the band's or dj's style of music. Many poster designers work within their own existing style, and can turn out beautiful art pieces but they don't necessarily represent the music. Here's some random ones from last year.

Concert tickets for a Montreal show with early 1970's Cleveland power pop group Blue Ash. Designed in the classic style of 70s rock concert tickets. This show was cancelled. Too bad cause it was an amazing lineup.

WOOLY WEEKEND WEBSITE

The first annual Wooly Weekend Festival in Montreal took place from August 6 to 8, 2009. It featured Garage Rock Bands from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s & 00s from all over North America and Europe. This is the first website I've made that was 100% designed and programmed by me, and it was done in less than a month. Not bad.
